第50回「The One Show 2023」受賞者発表！ 日本勢は日本財団「THE TOKYO TOILET」など5作品がゴールドペンシル受賞
第50回を迎えた「The One Show 2023」の受賞者が、5月19日、米国ニューヨークにて発表された。今回は69の国と地域から、2万166作品のエントリーから、最高賞、210のゴールドペンシル、200のシルバーペンシル、238のブロンズペンシル、1172のメリットが選出された。
最高賞にあたるBest of Showに選ばれたのは、Appleのショートムービー「The Greatest」。ハンディキャップを持つ人々がApple製品のアクセシビリティ機能を用いて、人生を楽しむ様子を描いた内容だ。
同作品は、部門賞にあたるBest of Discipline（Brand-Side/In-House部門）、5つのゴールドペンシル（Brand-Side/In-Houseで3つ、Film & Video 部門とMusic & Sound Craft部門で各1つ）ほか1つのシルバーペンシル（Moving Image Craft & Production部門）と複数部門でも受賞を遂げている。
日本からゴールドペンシルには、日本財団「THE TOKYO TOILET」、「第75回広告電通賞」の「walk,walk,」、北國新聞社「第106回高校相撲金沢大会」、アドミュージアム東京「D＆AD Awards 2021 Exhibition in Japan『Beautiful Mutations』」（以上Design部門）、サントリー食品インターナショナル／サントリー天然水「ENDLESS DAWN そしてまた、朝が来る。」（Interactive & Mobile Craft部門）の5つが選出された。
